Garden Railway
It was the day of the Sewell family gathering.
All the cousins met up together with Rob's aunt and uncle and a close family friend as well. This meant 17 people, including 6 boys.
Thankfully the weather was sunny and warm so we spent much of the day outside either in the garden or in the little play park next to the house.
The boys had a great time together and it was great to see everyone as we'd not seen some of the family for a couple of years.
The highlight of the day for the boys, big and small, was the running of the steam trains on the garden railway. The maroon one in the picture is Robs and it only gets to run on this track at the moment as it's still waiting for it's own branch line at home. The trains themselves are model steam trains and the go along the track literally under their own steam. The trains ran well, and there was even a sneaky dusk running of the trains in the evening.
Seeing all the boys together was great and it's nice when the family comes together. It really brings home how little we see of them as they're down in England, but when we get together it's good fun.
