The  salutation  Hotel at the end of the street here is reported to be the oldest in Scotland - welcoming guests since 1699!  

The most noteworthy item of news today was Cameron being told that his application to attend the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea next summer!  What a fabulous opportunity!  Although Ben wanted to go as well but he will be disappointed….
