Hazel Catkins .......

..... affectionally known as Lambs' Tails as they quiver and shake just like the tails of new born lambs.

I did spot a rainbow as I was turning into the Kingsgate retail park but their beauty and depth of colour are fleeting so ..... I missed it.

It's still very cold but although still windy the rain only put in a brief appearance in the early afternoon.
