Room With A View

Woke to a beautiful blue sky and fantastic blue sea with a bit of a breeze. Joy!

After breakfast SWMBO and I headed out to buy some supplies. The first thing we did when we went to the big international store was make sure they would take plastic......... the guy in the car hire place having warned us that so many places would only take cash. The banks are still closed and ATMs are restricting the amount that can be taken out each day.

The Cygnet and his Dad went in to the small outside pool when we got back.
That didn't last long due to rather low water temperature. So we all headed to the indoor pool which they had to themselves.

Back at the beach apartments where we are staying (very nice) we realised that our neighbour was about to get married in the covered area overlooking the sea where No1 son is getting married.

Great - a chance to watch and see how things were done by the hotel.
I am now even more convinced it is going to go swimmingly.

No1 and fiancé turned up after lunch and he managed to catch a huge grasshopper which he showed to the Cygnet. He was fascinated. Especially when it was released and made its huge leap.

The kids are knackered tonight (again) so hopefully they will sleep even later than today (or I fear their mother may kill them).

The only thing that has go wrong for me today is I found I have been bitten on my back, my cheek and my ankle (most likely last night when I was out taking pictures). I just hope that it is only the one on my ankle that comes up in the massive blister that is throbbing like crazy.
