Origami Scrabble

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Justine and Feefs left today. Feefs was wearing her "Fionavirus" t-shirt and the two were in good spirits but were very sad to be going. They had the best time apparently, with all the cats and the food and the telly but especially the cats. 

As for me, I also headed out fairly early today to go to the movies with Jefe and Manda. We went to see "Licorice Pizza" and having seen it, I still have no idea why it is called that. It is a fun movie though, with a cool soundtrack. It definitely goes on at least 30 minutes longer than required but on the whole, I liked it.

Afterward, the three of us went to a pub called The Sandbar for steak sandwiches and beers. Also Scrabble, which was one of the games positioned near our table. Jefe was not wearing his reading glasses and so mis-read "Original Scrabble" as "Origami Scrabble". 

"I'd like to see you play THAT," sniggered Manda. And then we were off playing a weird transatlantic version of Scrabble where you could spell "litre" however you like.

It was a fun afternoon and now I am back on the couch with Caro. And cats. They really ARE the highlight of our house you know.
