Half an hour's hike

There's a stretch of woods and an E-hiking path leads from there too ~  this blip shows a part of that path in those woods down from Chania's quarter Lentariana. 
The hill with the obelisk is my final of this woodwalk... or my turning point

And a little further on in these woods more than a century ago a sanatorio was realized, where Greece's poet Yannis Ritsos was nursed for his tubercolosis from 1927-1931. Now the old sanatorio buildings and hospital are refurbished into a health centre for them needing (social/communal) care ~ so once upon a time this area of Chania was selected for its clean air and the woods remind me of that.
