Meet little Apple

The three of us made the trip down to the Kanimbla Valley this afternoon to catch up with our Wombat Warrior, Anna Culliton.  It was the first time that our friend Sue had ever seen a baby wombat and was thrilled to be able to nurse this little darling called Apple.  We had the privilege of meeting the babies in her care, Apple, Ivy, Meg and Bert.  It’s a huge undertaking to care for these amazing creatures and rear them to the point that they can be released safely into the the wild again.  We never cease to be amazed at Anna’s energy.
