DAY 10 - TOUR

Today we decided to tour the local area despite the threat of snow.
#after a recommendation we visited a local (5miles away!!) cafe for breakfast in Whitfield. Lovely friendly service, delicious food, log fire AND great WiFi!!! Daisy was even given a bowl of chicken!!!
#The snow arrived during breakfast…but was quickly followed by # blue skies as we travelled to Haltwhistle.
# when the snow returned we were hiking up to find Hadrian’s Wall in the Northumberland Country Park.
#we were well wrapped…not bad weather, wrong clothes!!
#the sun came back as we drove through Haydons Bridge and onto Hexham….for a pub stop.
#back at the cottage there was snow on the hills but the roads were clear.
