Against the blue sky

A nice relaxed day started with a nice Lie-in . The weather has been rather mixed again today very windy some rain and some sunny spells .
We decided to make a dash for a blip while the sun was out. A quick walk along the  river to try and find a blip. A few spots of rain didn't put us off . I spotted this Black headed gull flying along the river battling with the wind. This shot shows it against a lovely blue sky but behind us it was rather dark cloud covering the sun .
Back home for a relaxing afternoon watching some very enjoyable FA Cup football. 2 loads of washing done and drying upstairs .
