Sunday: Garden Surprises
Fine and dry this morning and the wind has dropped, temperature around 6°C but felt warmer!
My gardening job today was to mix some vermiculite into the coir which I’d soaked last week - nice compost mix, might start off some micro greens, salads and peashoots over the next few days.
Lovely surprise next to my tub of compost mix - a tiny mauve crocus which must have “escaped” from a pot or self seeded!
Another surprise is a foxglove seedling which is happily growing on the tree fern stem - all sort of other plants have started growing there too!
Whilst I was in that corner of the garden noticed baby dandelion leaves, red-veined sorrel leaves and the Good King Henry plant has made new young growth too … salad for lunch!
Spent the afternoon reading whilst MrD went off on his electric bike and got a bit damp in a heavy shower :-((
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
