Birds of a feather ...

It's been a bit of a grim day. I took mum to hospital for various tests and scans related to last week's suspected mini stroke - the consultant is pretty sure that the odd episodes mum has are actually little epileptic fits, but did the scans anyway.

Since we got home mum has been remarkably 'absent' - I'm hoping it's due to extreme tiredness after the trip out - she normally never leaves the house and prefers it that way.

I went to Hornsea Mere for another try at seeing the long tailed duck, but I suspect it's left for chillier climes by now ..

There wasn't much going on there .. today's blip was a toss up between a feather gathering jackdaw or yet another fox .. have a jackdaw ..
