LATE SUN

I had to wait until after the sleet and heavy rain to get out for a walk, so it was a quick turn around the old cemetery where most things were sheltering from the biting wind. However, I spotted some redwings perched where the late sun was catching the upper branches. I've made a big pot of spicy parsnip soup, with sweet potato to make up the volume, which I've just whizzed in the blender and am just off to have for supper.
