Waxing Moon

This is something of an experiment. I attached a 2X converter to my telescope before adding my camera, increasing the image scale, then took a dozen photos and stacked them before processing in my usual software. This finished image is cropped in from the full frame.

I had to contend with high winds and lots of cloud scudding by across the Moon so I was quite pleased to get anything. Given better conditions I am hopeful of achieving much sharper and more detailed results than this.
