Ely Cathedral

After today's conferencing (at which I gave my paper - a good panel with some good discussion afterwards, but as usual I mistimed my paper and had more to say than time to say it) Sarah met me back at Ely Station and we walked along the river and then the back way up past the Cathedral. The weather was glorious - not exactly warm, but the warmest it's been all year so far. We didn't go into the Cathedral but I have to say it was stunning from the outside. The beacon in the foreground was one of those lit at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee last year.
