Past their best

Not my tulips ..... I keep mine until the petals drop.
These belong, or perhaps I should belonged, to my friend who recently had a knee replacement. She has so many flowers at the moment that she is running out of space and vases.
I called in on my way home from church and the main task today was to tidy up the flowers and put out the ones that were beginning to droop and wilt. She can walk around the house without her stick but carrying a large, heavy vase to the kitchen is a step too far at the moment.
