Derelict Sunday

Such mixed weather again today. We started a walk round Thrushcross but much of the round walk was closed due to fallen trees, a fair few down here . We moved on to Fewston but not before taking this Andy Goldworthy - esque blip slightly off our normal route.
Some fleeting bright light - in extras, together with a bobble/moss ball tree which I found curious. We got back to the car just as the heavy rain came - quite pleased about that!
Getting ready to travel down to Bristol for Mum’s funeral on Thursday, eulogy finished I think - I am finding expending emotional energy quite exhausting, so grateful to be able to get out into nature and keep blowing off the cobwebs.
