Short staffed

Our dog, Ellie, is has been prescribed 10 days "bed rest".  This is, of course, impossible.  One thing we can do (against "doctor's orders") is take her for a very short walk / sniff in our street.  This allows us to walk, unencumbered, wherever we want.

Our latest favourite is Dee Why beach before 10pm, which is when the rockpool lights are turned off.

Unusually, no one was swimming in the pool tonight.  Perhaps it was the rain - they didn't want to get wet.... (pauses for the groan...) Perhaps it was because it is a little cold and windy tonight.

Spotted these considerate words on a wall on the ramps leading down to the sand.  Probably gone now - washed away...
