Steps 1 & 2

Started a new painting today. Thought I’d document my process a bit more clearly. So step 1 is making some shapes on the canvas. This painting is 12 by 12 inches. Step 2 is adding acrylic media - in this case clear tar gel and impasto. Then while the media are still wet I spray the canvas with water based Dylusions inks. This canvas was lying flat for step 2 because I didn’t want lines of ink running on this painting. More steps tomorrow.
