Derelict Snail Mail

I've noticed lately that the mail is being eaten.
Today I found the culprit. A snail!

We moved back to Blackheath today. Despite being mid summer it was 13C inside and we turned the central heating on. At first it wouldn't work but after a bit of fiddling it seems to be going now. Otherwise it might be a short stay here.
