A bit of friendly sparring

We spotted these two young harts flexing their muscles at Lyme Park, Disley.

Another 'car picnic', this time with Dad and H, it was really good too! We toured the house, gardens and then the grounds then rushed home to get the Jambalaya tea on.

Every time we go to Lyme Park, something else has changed for the better. This time, the room guides were volunteering information as we entered the rooms, whereas in the past, they stood silently answering questions only when asked.

There is also a Wardrobe Room, where children (even older ones) can dress up in period costumes before they tour the house, returning the clothes after the tour ends. The National Trust volunteers at Lyme do a fantastic job to make their guests want to return time after time.
