J.L. Runeberg's Day

Another intensive, yet fun day in the darkroom with a red safelight! We did test strips with the enlarger, and when the correct exposure and contrast were established, we exposed and developed our photos. In the picture our first photo prints are drying. 

In the evening we celebrated our national poet's J.L. Runeberg’s birthday by eating the Runeberg cakes. And not just by eating them, but traditionally testing and grading them. This time we had to do it without Leevi, unfortunately.

This year the competition was very even, here are the results.
