A little sun

Well, we didn't get 13 inches of slush and snow yesterday but it was several inches of ice pellets laid over with about 4 inches of snow. I was very glad not to have been on the road. This morning the sun started to poke through the clouds. It was brisk but sunny today. The younger chickens ventured out a bit.
We are looking forward to mid week when the temperatures will climb above freezing for a while!
