Warming Up

The sun was just showing above the trees at the back of the playing fields when we arrived for this morning’s Park Run. A few enthusiasts were doing a warm up lap; I have enough trouble doing three, without doing an extra one! As for the temperature, it never really warmed up all day, thanks to the cold day.

This afternoon Chris & I enjoyed Yeovil’s entertaining 0-0 draw at home to Solihull Moors who have been scoring goals for fun lately and are in the top six. They looked a very good team and played some excellent football but we defended superbly and managed to create a number of chances of our own, which made for an enthralling game. Once again, a draw was the fair result.
