Unexpected Goat moth

I have been raising Goat moth larvae, and the other day I was quite surprised to discover one had pupated, but even more surpised today to discover the pupa had eclosed!!! 
Sadly they are a summer species, so I doubt he will survive if I release him :-( If any more pupate I will put them out in the cold in the porch.
