A shot especially taken with Admirer in mind, for Silly Saturday (and for added silliness, at the wrong shutter setting, too).

Today the Wycliffe Big Boats Head took place in rain and gusty winds. This is a processional time trial rowing competition over about 2.5km on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal which runs adjacent the River Severn. 

As the bridge sign above states, the headroom is an unforgiving half a metre. Not a time to take a deep breath for some of these rowers...
