Fish & Chips

Our good friend Ray came to dinner this evening and entertained us with fascinating stories of life in Liverpool in the early sixties.
 He is a jazz fan and was not too pleased when the Cavern started having the Beatles play there instead, but he watched all the bands playing in the city in those years, often going to one club in his lunch hour and then another after work the same day!
Elvis listened in from the sofa behind Ray, but wasn’t that interested, and the tarte au citron tasted very nice!
