Snowdrops

A chilly start to the day, but a lovely drive down to South Dartmoor to the Garden House for their Snowdrop Festival. It is a first visit, and will not be the last. This time of year the 10 acre garden is waking up to Spring with displays of Snowdrops, over 300 varieties. who knew that there were so many. 

Wandering around there were more signs of Spring. Winter aconite, cyclamen, crocus all beginning to appear. The Rhododendrons are well on their way. It is certainly a place to visit through the seasons.
