Interaction

I'm not sure whether this was someone thinking about feeding someone else, or whether this was someone thinking about taking a seed away from someone else.Either way the left hand bird kept his seed . The right hand bird flew off in search of his own.
It was a busy day at the bird feeders . Since I work from home on Fridays they were fed in the Am and again at lunch.this is the first time I have seen more than 2 goldfinches this winter.
It was miserable weather over the last 24 hours. Yesterday it rained most of the day till about 9PM when it turned to sleet. This Am we had about 2 inches of sleet on top of a layer of ice. It had to be chopped up before it could be shoveled. Then  it started to snow and continued till about 3-4  clock and we got a couple of inches of snow. We managed to get Elise out to work before  I had to start at 8 , then worked on it again at lunch and still didn't get the whole driveway clear.Actually half a driveway to go. But I think I am done as my shoulder is pretty unhappy and so are my thumbs. Ok - why the thumbs? I have been trying to figure that one out.That may be the knitting from last night.
