Wasps building a new nest

Our garden has exploded with all the rain we recently had. I took advantage of the cooler day to do some gardening. I trimmed back our camellia and discovered this wasp nest. I'm waiting on an ID but believe it's a non-aggressive native. The colony didn't mind me taking photos.
