it wouldn't be spring without them

The dogwoods are sporting brilliant white blossoms right now. It's one of the best parts of spring.

It's been raining in the Sierra for 3 days, and should for another 2. While the climbers are grumbling, I think other Valley residents are pleased to have a wetter spring this year. (Namely, the mosquitoes.)
