At the lake

This looks idyllic but I didn’t appreciate it. I was just too occupied feeling sorry for myself. Then I realized that I also have been surrounded by so much beauty when I lived in Reno and did not appreciate it either then. Now I see it in my old pictures and often long to be there.
Time to grow up. Live in the here and now. And appreciate what I have here and now.
