wet and muddy

It went up to 61 degrees today, so why was it so cold when I walked Samuel tonight? Because then it was 37 degrees f (2.8 C) and humid. In cold weather, high humidity levels will make you feel colder. I have heard this also contributes to Iceland feeling cold even though the temperatures themselves are not that bad. 


Cold end to a great work week. 


This is a paper pop-up card. I saw an advertisement for this company (Lovepop) ages ago. They have innovative, fun, and inclusive designs. They are so delightful that some people are loathe to write on them, so they created a little slip that hides inside where people can write notes. 


When I was in Hanoi, Vietnam, there were women selling pop-up cards. The subject matter was Vietnam-focused and the color palette was limited, but they were also innovative. 


It turns out the Lovepop cards are made in Vietnam. I wonder if there is a connection.
