In today's very strong wind...

... the coal tit had to cling on to this wire for support as it negotiated its way to the bird feeders.

The great tit, in my extra, managed a little better on the stronger branch support.

I wasn't in danger of being blown out of the bird hide - but it was seriously chilly in there.
