Nossmond
Situated as we are at the foot of the Wolds our land is a wild mixture of soil types left by the retreating glaciers. When we rented land from a neighbours land he warned us of one field heavy with nossmond. It may look like poor concrete but it is very hard and sticks up randomly through the sub soil into the cultivation zone. It appears to be gravel and sand welded together, and does much damage to our equipment!
Off to camera group tonight so may be late commenting tonight, so take care one and all ;¬}
