Big treat this morning - we had this red tailed hawk hanging out back for over an hour.
At first it eyed the squirrels that come begging at our back door, but soon flew off to a fence where it preened for a long time. I took over a hundred pictures of that fascinating process, and was working on one of those for today's blip when hubby told me the hawk was back on the porch.
So I guess it was finishing up its cleaning with a pedicure!
