Puppetry

Down in Edinburgh for a couple of days for a puppetry workshop, part of the Manipulate festival of puppetry and animation.

Day started with a chance encounter with Lady Findhorn at her usual spot in Söderberg. Great to see her, even better to see the look on her face as she realised who I was.

Rest of the day was fascinating and a lot of fun. Mainly about the performance side of puppetry today, learned loads and met some very interesting people. The chap in the pic is one of our instructors. He didn’t say a lot but definitely was the star act.

Very tired at the end of the day but definitely worth the trip.Back tomorrow for the rest of the workshop when we will be building puppets from trash.
