Tiitiäisen satumetsä
Ice sculpture forest in Ikuri was opened two weeks ago. The theme this year is Kirsti Kunnas' fairytale poems from her collection Tiitiäisen satupuu. We went there late, after 22:00, because we wanted to avoid crowd. Our plan was successful, we enjoyed magically beautiful atmosphere by ourselves. In addition to lights and ice sculptures, there was also matching music. I had my tripod with me, so we took a group photo in front of The Prince Sebuses' Castle.
There are in total of 20 ice sculptures made by 7 sculptors. Ice has been taken from the Näsijärvi lake. Ice sculpture forest is illuminated 24/7, as long as we have minus degrees.
-10°C, sunny
