My New Friend

When I saw these Venus Flytrap plants in the shop during our visit to the Botanics I snapped one up. I was getting seriously fed up with the little flies that seem to have colonised the utility room and are straying into the dining room.

Having read the cultivation details I realise that in winter they are more or less dormant, so I don't expect any reduction in fly population anytime soon, though at least I don't need to feed it on mince.
