Pipe Dreams.....

Another day of cattle work.
Managed to give another 60 cows their fluke dose this morning. My finger still nipping a bit from sticking the needle right through it doing the last cow yesterday. At least I won't get fluke or worms !
Had to stop mid morning to go and see the crew laying the conduit for the fibre optic cable. They had managed to plough up the farm water main along the road. I went and turned it off up the hill and they managed to find enough fittings in one of their vans to repair it again. I presume that's not the first time they've done something like that. Traffic chaos again too as they continued to work along the single track main road and the convoy of artic lorries hauling the wood chip away from the top of the village couldn't get through.
Brian from Border Livestock in this afternoon to have a look at store cattle. I think they need to grow a bit yet before I start selling them. Will give them a few weeks yet.
A wet night now,the first rain for a while..
