Mike the Courier (34/365)

So, it's come to this. Photo of the Day has been infiltrated by alter-egos. 


I did a speech at my Toastmasters club this morning about my alter-ego, Mike the Courier. Mike's an amalgamation of every bogan, every lad, and every get-on-the-chop-and-get-kicked-out-of-a-nightclub-called-Dreamers guy I've ever met. 


Mike is in love with the world, and the world, in turn, is in love with scallywag idiot Mike, with his beat-up delivery van and unquestionable devotion to a good time. We all have a Mike the Courier inside us - maybe not as problematic as the Couriersauraus - but that little piece of ourselves that's turned all the way up to 11.
