Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Had a welcome lie-in until 8.30 AM today, did yoga then read whilst eating breakfast. I actually quit on the book I was reading - it was a crime thriller but it was so unrealistic and far-fetched. The police were a law unto themselves and the suspects were too cliched. If it wasn't for the gory crimes I would have though it was written by or for kids! It's rare I quit on a book but this was just dire! Shame as I have read others by the author and enjoyed them.

Later I had a walk into town to find a Blip. I took some photos of buildings I like but was not too happy with them so I have decided to go with this fading rose that grows next to one of the buildings.

Tomorrow I am getting my hair cut and coloured. It does not seem to have grown much since last time really. That is often the case at this time of year. The condition seems to have improved, touch wood!
