The Trouble with Moss
Is that, like most living things, it is opportunistic. This is the first winter since we've had the Moroccan table that is surfaced with zellij, that we haven't covered it up. A mistake, moss has begun to grow in the crevices between each piece of the plaster. I quite like moss, but not on my table.
Pieces of the zellij have also cracked and come loose. I think we must wait for warmer weather before attempting to carry out repairs.
I dragged Len out into the garden this afternoon to plant the splendid Hellebore and Simmia that we bought last week at Dobbies. About time too, they were beginning to go dry.
