I spent the afternoon

at one with nature ... A new rhubarb bed prepped, incorporating some beautiful homemade compost, and planted up, on the allotment. It is very un-seasonally warm .. I was working in a short sleeved tee shirt, or perhaps I'm just a little unfit. It was most enjoyable & satisfying nevertheless. Weeded a few other beds, not much as I worked it all, & manured in the Autumn. Bobby robin arrived making me feel very guilty as I did'nt have any food for him, then I suddenly remembered I had a bag of Hula Hoops in my rodent proof stash. We shared them enjoying the last rays of sunshine. It soon got chilly once they'd disappeared.
