When we grow up.........

....... we want to be the second largest antelope in the world next to our relative the Giant Eland.

These young Common Eland (Taurotragus oryx) were part of a herd photographed at Rietvlei Nature Reserve south of Pretoria.

An adult male averages 1,6 metres at the shoulder and weighs between 500-600kg
