The Rookery

One of dozens and dozens of trees around the house that hold rookeries within. All are very busy at the moment with springlike activities and lots of male posturing (the females often get fed up and fly off - just not up to scratch) The noise at this time of year about 5.30 am is deafening - when all the birds kick off. After about an hour they fly off elsewhere (presumably for breakfast). Birds obviously know Spring is on its way judging by the sound this morning.
