Stopping time

This clock has been on the fireplace mantle for as long as David owned this house. Unfortunately when I started visiting here 16 years ago, I could not sleep with it chiming every hour. So it has been silent ever since.
Nice weather today. Warmed up to high 40’s.  Rain coming tomorrow and Friday but the upside is the rain should melt a lot of snow!
