Up the Firth

A greyer and milder day today. Quiet at work today.  The light goes off even earlier in the morning.

On the lunchtime walk spoke to a man who's wife interested in bird photography, so he was interested in my camera, a micro 4/3rds camera, as she current used a bridge camera, but that it struggled in low light conditions, like today. He mentioned that she had been looking at DSLRs. So I said mirrorless was the way to go, and, given that he said his wife was quite wee, the OM Systems (was Olympus) cameras were very good at that. One advantage of my camera is that a 300mm micro 4/3rds lens is the same as a DSLR full format 600mm lens. He took a photo of my camera so his wife could add that in to the mix of cameras to look at to replace the bridge camera.

Blip shows the Firth of Forth from Caiystane with a tanker heading to the terminal for the refinery at Grangemouth. Clouds were scraping the tops of the Lomond Hills.

A quiet afternoon at work, but, yes, was still working.

A very nice after work ride, another 31.8km. It was meant to be drizzle and windy, but there was not much wind or moisture.

The evening, after a meal of pasta served with an Argentinian Malbec, was spent doing the online grocery shopping, and blipping. Listening to music....

"Und ich sitz' schon wieder
Barfuß am Klavier.
Ich träume Liebeslieder
Und sing' dabei von dir;
Und du und ich –
Es ging so nicht." - Barfuß am Klavier, AnnenMayKantereit.
