Just finished this commission, part of 3, a mechanical pencil in Amboyna Burr wood. Hope to get the 2 pens finished over the next couple of days. One in Maple Burr and the other in Thuya Burr. 
Amboyna burr comes from the Narra tree, native to Australia, Asia and the Philippines. Its name is derived from Ambon Island in Indonesia and is used for making fine furniture, electric guitar tops and decorative items. And pens …… and mechanical pencils.
