Samosa pie

We have several packs of ready made pastry in the freezer - some filo, some puff.  We need to use it up - the one thing we very definitely cannot take to Ireland is frozen stuff!  Not unless we want to arrive with a soggy mess.

So W defrosted a pack of puff pastry last night, kept some aside for this evening to make this samosa pie, and made some cheese straws for lunch - very rich, but rather nice.

W made two trips out today - one to get the car washed, and whilst out, popped in to B&Q to buy a battery - our door bell has just packed up.  When he got the battery home and tried to put it into the doorbell, he discovered he'd bought the wrong battery - VERY similar size, but not quite!  So another trip out to Toolstation (having reserved it for Click and Collect) to get the correct battery.  And both times, he forgot to pick up my medication from the surgery.

My turn to go out tomorrow - we need veggies and fruit.  Hope I don't forget the medication as well!

We got forms from the removal firm today - we have to specify EVERY SINGLE item of furniture individually!  Hopefully they will accept x (a very large number) boxes of books - not expect every single book to be listed individually!
