Admiring the view

It was another beautiful day, it felt quite mild and I actually got too warm wearing my winter coat on my walk this morning. I know this weather won't last so it is good to enjoy it while we can. I took this photo on our walk this morning, the pond was calm with lovely reflections.

The photography leader who I am going to Iceland with got back from there last night, (he has two trips to Iceland this year due to all the cancellations last year) and reported that it is wonderfully quiet with hardly any tourists, its so quiet that we will be able to visit the famous ice cave which is usually overrun with  tourists and not worth visiting in such circumstances. He also had the most amazing aurora sightings - not that I am too fussed about that, unless you have a very interesting foreground I often find aurora photos quite boring, although I suppose it will be great to experience it even if the photos are not that impressive.

I had a bit of admin to do today, also organised some birthday presents  but I seem to have caught up, and now I need to think about cooking supper.
